more window frames......
eiji finished the last of the large stl. frames. tomorrow i will order the rest of the glass and sliders. about 80% of the glass is in place. will paint the frames this week while waiting for glass and start the wood rainscreen. cant wait.

black with pinstripes......glass TOO!
we have been busy these past few weeks. two plys of vaproshield and runners are up ready for the wood rainscreen. most of the frames are in, flashed, primed and painted. started putting glass in this week. few more big frames to go, finish the glass, sliders, doors and she is dried in. sounds easy when you say it fast. eiji has been working like crazy to get the frames finished. they are everybody's favorite part of the house. forget everything else. mark at metalcraft windows really pulled through for us getting glass to us at a fair price and in a very short turn around. i look forward to putting his sliders in this week.

more windows
moved more windows last weekend. still banging away on frames in the shop. only a few more to build and install. 12" stl plate gets heavy...but looks so good!

these two frames ae the first to be installed. we have several more on site and in the shop that need to be put in place so we can order glass and operable units.

its a wrap!
finished wrapping the house today and the electrician (blink electric - lothar) has started. was a long week but everybody pulled it together. plumbers move in monday morning and hopefully by wednesday we will have a roof going. we shall see.

john ennis and thomas are helping us with the framing. they are pretty much in auto pilot now and it seems to be moving pretty quickly thanks to them. it is not so shaky out there at the end anymore. yeehaw!life is good.
